Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CallUp Healthcare Experts LLC collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), and whether you're an expert or an organization.
• Profile information: resume, LinkedIn link, experience, results, specialties, markets and the tags you choose.
• What you tell us about yourself: written answers and voice recordings, and their transcripts.
• Files you share: project samples and deal-room files.
• Activity: briefs, matches, NDA signatures (name, time, IP address and browser), messages, community posts and notifications.
• For organizations: company details, including what we read from your public website when you give us its address.

How we use it

• To build your profile, vet experts, match them to organizations and run introductions, NDAs and deal rooms.
• To send account emails such as verification, password resets and updates about your matches.
• To keep CallUp safe, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

AI processing

We use AI models to draft profiles, transcribe recordings, suggest matches and prepare summaries and assessments for our team. These requests go through Vercel's AI Gateway to model providers including Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (transcription). We do not allow our data to be used to train their models where we can control that. People on our team make the final vetting and matching decisions.

Who sees what

• Matchmakers on the CallUp team can see your full profile, recordings, transcripts and assessments.
• Organizations see an anonymous version of your profile until both sides sign the mutual NDA; then your name and email are shared with that organization.
• Community posts are visible to signed-in members. If you post without your name, other members can't see who you are; our team can.
• Job seekers' profiles are private by default and are never listed publicly.

Service providers

We use Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Resend (email) and the AI providers above to run CallUp. They process data on our behalf. We don't sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account and data from your account settings at any time; we remove your profile, recordings, files and messages, except records we must keep for legal reasons. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.

Security

Files are stored privately and served only to people allowed to see them. No system is perfectly secure; tell us if you notice anything wrong.

No patient information

Please don't share protected health information on CallUp. If it's shared by mistake, tell us and we'll remove it.
